Scottish Rugby League Apprenticeships Organisation: Scottish Rugby League/Sports Academy Scotland LtdDuration: 12 monthsSalary: £300 per month Description: Sports Academy Scotland ltd are offering a partnership with Scotland Rugby League to appoint Modern Apprentices for a 12 month contract of employment with a monthly allowance of £300. Criteria Applicants/ Placements should be under 20 years old and not be in full time education or employment Education During the period of this contract you will undertake to complete the SVQ L3 in Management as certificated by the SQA through the guidance of the employers delivery staff. At all times you must meet deadlines with regards to completing the units of this award.The completion of the units contained in this award will demand regular meetings with delivery staff who will outline the pathway to completion of the award. It is the candidates responsibility to meet the demands of this pathway and to finish the award prior to the termination of this contract. Rate of Pay Remuneration You will be paid an allowance of £300 per calendar month, paid monthly in arrears normally on or before the last day of the month by credit transfer from the employer. Normal Working Hours Your normal working hours may vary by agreement with your placement provider but are expected to be 25 hours per week. You may, subject to the placement providers prior agreement, be permitted to take time off (at such times as the placement provider agrees in advance). This may include development time with the delivery staff of the Sports Academy (Scotland) Ltd to assist in the completion of your MA studies. You will be employed as a Modern Apprentice responsible to the Director of the Sports Academy (Scotland) Ltd. During any given working day you will report directly to your dedicated placement provider Line Manager or such other as dedicated by your placement provider.
