Microsoft – Hardware and Networking (Scotland)
Unique opportunity to undertake an IT Modern Apprenticeship with leading companies based in Scotland.
How it works
This is a 9 month IT Apprenticeship programme involving:
• hands on technical experience in the work place
• extensive training provided at QA's leading academy
• full exposure and training in ICT systems: software and hardware installations, configuration and upgrades
You will study towards industry recognised qualifications as well as gaining valuable work experience and SVQ level 3 qualification whilst earning up to £120 per week.
We have opportunities in Aberdeen, Glasgow, Edinburgh and across the central belt.
Qualifications
Upon completion, apprentices will be qualified in the following areas:
• Microsoft Certification Technical Specialist (MCTS)
• CompTIA A+
• City & Guild Diploma and Certificate
• Essential Skills for Apprentices
• SVQ Level 3 certificate
Employment
We currently have numerous Microsoft partners ready to employ IT apprentices and support them through the programme.
Funding
The training provided by QA Apprenticeships is fully funded by the government for 16-19 year olds. Your employer is also committed to continued development of your skills and experience.
Entry requirements
You must have:
• at least 5 standard grades at level 3 and above - Maths and English is a must
• a passion to learn about IT
• good communication skills
• enthusiasm, professional attitude and the willingness to learn
